Did you know that when children interact with animals, they build the all-importnt senses of connection, empathy, and caring? Caring for a pet instills respect for life and an awareness of the needs of others as well as giving children an understanding of how their behavior can affect others.

As they progress they will be taught how to communicate with the pony. Finally, they will ride with a side walker where they will do all of the steering but will have a person beside them for safety.

Looking for ways to Donate? Give to a Good Cause!

Would you like to give to a good cause?

Being a Non-Profit organization requires donations and assistance from the community. At Harbor Hooves Farm, we are striving to create a therapeutic atmosphere to serve our community members who have a disability. This population often misses out on everyday leisure and recreational activities due to a lack of adaptiveness. With the help of substantial financial support, we will be able to serve our community in a safe and loving environment with animals that are trained and able to provide adaptive support.

The money donated will go towards: Building a barn for the farm animals, purchasing well-trained horses, purchasing adaptive riding gear, purchasing saddles, halters, leads, feed, paying and training staff, etc.
